The meeting of the Operational Headquarters for prevention of the spread of coronavirus on behalf of the President was chaired by the Chief of Staff of the PMR President Sergei Belous. Ruslan Mova announced the latest information on the state of affairs with COVID morbidity in Pridnestrovie. The Minister of Health Christina Albul reported on the provision of medicines and personal protective equipment.
There are 4580 COVID-19 carriers in the republic to date, 2113 people are being treated in quarantine hospitals. The condition of 454 patients is assessed as serious (21% of cases), 68 are in intensive care, 13 are connected to ventilation devices. 55 Pridnestrovians with suspicion of infection are awaiting the results of biomaterial samples in hospitals. The workload of the network of infectious diseases hospitals is 85%. 2462 Pridnestrovians are receiving treatment at home. 124 patients were transferred from home isolation to infectious diseases hospitals from April 5 to April 7 due to deteriorating health.
3519 samples of biomaterial were examined during the past three days. The fact of the disease was confirmed in 952 people. 22 patients from coronavirus hospitals died in the reporting period. 1298 citizens coped with the disease. The average daily incidence rate in the republic amounted to 317 cases at the end of the week, a week earlier it was higher – 335 cases per day.
189732 samples have been taken for research since the beginning of the pandemic in Pridnestrovie in the republic, 43365 cases of infection were registered, 961 deaths were recorded among the cases, 37824 people coped with the disease.
