According to the information announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus, 284 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19 at the moment. 79 of them are being treated at home, 205 – in two infectious diseases hospitals, which in total are slightly more than half full. Considering that the Rybnitsa infectious diseases hospital was close to full capacity, the bed fund was expanded to 90 units. 80% of the places in this hospital are already occupied at the moment. The President recalled the need to be ready in advance in case of a further increase in the incidence of coronavirus. The average daily incidence is now 31, a week earlier - 22 cases per day.
Carriers of the virus were transferred from home to hospital treatment in the period from 5 to 11 July in connection with the deterioration of the state of health. 43 people or 21% of the total number of citizens hospitalized at the moment are difficult to tolerate the coronavirus, 11 are patients in intensive care units, three are connected to mechanical ventilation devices. 118 Pridnestrovians are in self-isolation at home.
3033 samples of the biomaterial of citizens with suspected infection were examined during the week (240672 during the entire time of the pandemic). The fact of the disease in the reporting period was confirmed in 216 cases. 50190 cases of COVID-19 infection were recorded totally in Pridnestrovie during the coronavirus pandemic. 1229 carriers of the virus, 2.4% of cases died (5 deaths in a week), 48677 people (97%) coped with the disease (154 recovered during the reporting period).
41148 Pridnestrovians were vaccinated with the Sputnik V first component, 30589 people received both doses of this vaccine. 5948 people passed the first stage of vaccination with the AstraZeneca, 3693 – completed the course. 6218 residents of the republic were vaccinated with the first dose of Pfizer, 6214 – completed vaccination with this vaccine. The first dose of Sinopharm vaccine was received by 9561 people, Sinovac – by 7382 people.
