COVID statistics

According to the latest data, announced at the meeting of the Operational Headquarters under the President for prevention of the spread of coronavirus infection, currently 223 Pridnestrovians are carriers of COVID-19. There are 184 infected patients in coronavirus hospitals of the republic. The workload of the medical institutions network of the COVID profile, is 20%, taking into account its reduction. 96 patients are in serious condition, 16 people are in intensive care units, three of whom are connected to artificial lung ventilation. 39 people are being treated at home. 26 infected people were transferred to hospitals due to their state of health deteriorating. There are no new cases of infection in penitentiary institutions, the COVID hospital based on the State Penitentiary Service has been closed. 96 people are in controlled self-isolation.

2690 samples of biomaterial were taken for research during the past week, 109 of them turned out to be positive. 226451 sample studies have been conducted since the beginning of the pandemic totally.

The average daily incidence of coronavirus in the republic was 15 people, while in the previous period, an average of 22 infected per day was detected. 49332 confirmed cases of the disease to date.

4 people died due to concomitant diseases from May 31 to June 6. The total number of deaths is 1198 people. The mortality rate during the pandemic is 2.4%. During this time, 47911 people or 97% of the sick coped with the disease. 325 Pridnestrovians coped with a particularly dangerous infection during the reporting period.

The President was reported on the progress of vaccination. The 29928 people were vaccinated with the “Sputnik V” first component. 8515 Pridnestrovians received the second dose. 637 people were fully vaccinated with Astra Zeneca, 4136 citizens received the first dose of this vaccine. The vaccination campaign with Pfizer continues. It was noted that citizens are issued appropriate certificates upon completion of the vaccination course. It contains the dates of administration of the first and second doses of the vaccine, its name and series. Originality is confirmed by a QR code.
