The Immortal Regiment marched through the streets of Pridnestrovian capital

The columns of the Immortal Regiment are marching through cities today in many parts of the world. Thousands of Pridnestrovians joined the patriotic event. There are portraits of great-grandfathers, grandfathers and fathers in the hands of participants of the march, who passed by the roads of war. Traditionally, the PMR President is in the ranks of the Immortal Regiment with his family. Grandfather and father of the PMR President are looking from the portrait into peaceful distance. Vasily Ivanovich Krasnoselsky, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, who distinguished himself in the battles for Sevastopol, was wounded many times, met the victorious spring of 1945 in Austria. Father of the President Nikolai Vasilyevich Krasnoselsky, who survived the occupation during the Second World War, went through the Afghan war.

Speaking about his attitude to the "Immortal Regiment", Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that for the descendants of the participants of the Great Patriotic War - this is memory and duty. “It is a duty towards those who have defended their homeland, who have not returned from the front, who is still missing, who remained alive and restored our state from the ruins. Veterans of the Great Patriotic War are still with us in the ranks. This is a tribute to the victorious people, those who defended not only our state, but the whole world”, said the President, marching shoulder to shoulder with fellow countrymen — today all are those who took part in the victorious march.

Vadim Krasnoselsky expressed confidence that the action would not lose its relevance in the future: “Participation in it comes from the heart. This is not artificial, this is not a staged action. Nobody is forcibly here. The Immortal Regiment is really immortal, because it keeps memory, because each family suffered losses, there people who defended our Homeland in each family”.
