The PMR President met with the Latvian Ambassador

The meeting of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Latvia to Moldova Uldis Mikuts is for informational purposes only. The diplomat took his current position in the spring of this year, and today he met with the PMR President. The meeting was held at the office of the PMR President. Welcoming the guest, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that Pridnestrovie is important for attention from Latvia as a member of the European Union participating in the negotiation process, and the opinion of the embassy of this country in various relevant areas is interesting.

Uldis Mikuts, in turn, emphasized that Latvia is closely watching the development of Moldova-Pridnestrovian relations. The diplomat expressed a desire to discuss the results of a recent meeting in Bratislava of participants in the “5 + 2” format.

The interlocutors paid attention to the prospects of the Pridnestrovian-Latvian cooperation in the economic sphere. The guest spoke about participation of representatives of the Latvian embassy in the VII Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum. In this context, more detailed discussion of possible areas of cooperation took place today.
