"Talking with you, I recharge energy. Looking at you, I look to the future", said Vadim Krasnoselsky, communicating with young people in the framework of the SPIEF-2019

The organizers of the VII Pridnestrovian International Investment Economic Forum thought out a block of sections with the participation of youth. The first interlocutor was the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky. Welcoming young people, the President noted that he was glad of the opportunity to communicate with those who have the future of the republic and the world. Vadim Krasnoselsky emphasized that it is important for him that not only Pridnestrovians are present in the hall, but also foreign guests, an open dialogue with which will make it possible to present Pridnestrovie in a true light, and not in tones imposed by someone.

Participants of the meeting asked the President about geopolitics, relations of Pridnestrovie with the Russian Federation, impressions of communication with representatives of the Russian Government - Dmitry Kozak and Sergey Shoigu. They asked questions about gas transit and further prospects in this area. They were interested in peculiarities of the youth policy of Pridnestrovie and involvement of the young generation of Pridnestrovie in public and state processes. Vadim Krasnoselsky, saying that he is father of three children of different ages, noted that communicating with them allows to better understand the problems and interests of those who have the future. They talked about migration phenomena and how to keep young people in the republic. The PMR President drew attention to the fact that emigration from Pridnestrovie is not global in nature, but there are more and more immigrants arriving from neighboring Moldova and Ukraine. Such factor as a noticeable increase in the number of pupils in Pridnestrovian schools is also indicative: on September 1, 2018, 1300 more pupils than in 2017 entered schools, at the beginning of this school year 1,200 more pupils than in previous one. “People are returning, they are choosing Pridnestrovie - and thank God,” concluded Vadim Krasnoselsky. Commenting on the fact that the best graduates of the Pridnestrovian schools choose foreign universities for higher education, the President confirmed that, in fact, half of the medalists are leaving, most often to Russia. It does not mean that they are leaving their homeland. The choice of an educational institution is the right of everyone. The Pridnestrovian leadership’s task is to do everything possible so that the youth, who are often simply attracted by the lights of the big city, want to return home with the acquired knowledge, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted. As for the level of higher education in Pridnestrovie, the President considers it to be quite high. Vadim Krasnoselsky - holder of PSU diploma in legal profile. His daughter is a student of the medical faculty of the Pridnestrovian State University. That is, judgments about the quality of education are based on personal experience. Discussing what measures are being taken to consolidate youth in the republic, Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled the actively created jobs and the successfully implemented affordable housing program. They also talked about the difficulties faced by young professionals in finding jobs. The President urged graduates not to rush from the student bench into commercial structures and not immediately rely on high positions, but to start a career in budget organizations, gain experience there and gradually move up to the top of profession.

A representative of the youth organization from Cyprus was interested in whether Pridnestrovie plans to become part of the European Union. Vadim Krasnoselsky reminded those present at the meeting that according to the PMR Constitution, the fate of the state is determined by the people. The position was clearly outlined in the referendum 2006.

Explaining why the Pridnestrovians associate the future of the state with Russia, Vadim Krasnoselsky noted that in addition to historical, economic, and cultural ties, the two states have an identical view of the national question.

It was also about the peacefulness of the Pridnestrovian people. According to the PMR President, the foreign policy of the republic is primarily aimed at maintaining peace.

Taking into consideration the specifics of today's forum, the economic theme was discussed. The President was asked about the opportunities and prospects of Pridnestrovie in terms of developing foreign markets. Emphasizing that the republic’s economic potential is great, Vadim Krasnoselsky spoke about the growth of indicators in the investment sector.

They talked about the tourism business, in particular, development of rural tourism. According to the President, the state approaches the issue comprehensively: from reconstruction of existing and creation of new cultural, historical and leisure facilities to information support. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the republic, the presentation edition “The Golden Collection of the Best Places of Pridnestrovie” will be officially released. A two-volume volume of more than a thousand pages will tell residents and guests of the republic about cities and regions of the republic, enterprises, cultural sites, historical monuments, architecture and nature. Based on these materials, a kind of guidebook is prepared - “Passport of a Pridnestrovian tourist”. The main tourist routes will be indicated in the brochure, which will help guests to get to know the republic better and travel around it with great comfort.

They could not do without gifts today. A guest from Tatarstan brought a national dish, chak-chak for the PMR President. Vadim Krasnoselsky promised to convey the sweetness to children. The interlocutors exchanged invitations. The PMR President emphasized that Pridnestrovie is open to visitors, and noted that he would be happy to visit the hospitable Tatarstan on occasion.

Concluding the conversation held at the SPIEF-2019, Vadim Krasnoselsky thanked the interlocutors.
